Our network was founded by Charlotte Mackenzie. Charlotte brings two decades of experience within the global retail compliance sector. James Ingmire has recently joined to provide legal governance to the group discussion. He brings a wealth of legal experience having served as a lawyer within the financial sector for over 30 years.

With over 25 years of experience spanning major international retailers, Charlotte has shaped compliance strategies from the shop floor to the boardroom. Her journey through garment technology, product design, and retail operations provides a unique perspective on implementing effective compliance solutions.

A sought-after industry voice, Charlotte regularly shares her expertise at global conferences and industry panels. Her strategic guidance has helped transform compliance operations for leading brands including Marks and Spencer, John Lewis, Skims, Mint Velvet, Baby Mori, Seraphine, and Warner Brothers' Harry Potter franchise.

James Ingmire
Chief Legal Officer


James is a qualified solicitor and brings with him a wealth of legal experience and will assist in ensuring that our delivery to The Compliance Circle maintains appropriate oversight within our group gatherings.

He has over two decades of experience at senior levels within the legal sector and financial industry. He has previously held senior compliance positions at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse.
